The Joint Committee for Family Planning is the body that sets the syllabus for Family Planning training for doctors in Ireland.
The Committee acts under the joint auspices of the Irish College of General Practitioners and the Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, with representatives from Family Planning clinics, Natural Family Planning and the Irish Association of Family Planning Doctors.

Applications for Family Planning Certificates
Applications for family planning certificates are assessed every three months. Please be patient if you have sent an application and are awaiting your certificate.
